Our university has made significant progress in the 2024 world university rankings published by the University Ranking by Academic Performance (URAP). Last year, our university was ranked 995th among 3000 universities worldwide. This year, it has climbed 109 places to 886th. In terms of percentile ranking, our university has advanced from the top 33.17% to the top 29.53%, achieving an improvement of 3.64%.
In the URAP 2024 rankings for Turkey, which includes 126 universities, our university secured the 7th position. Compared to its ranking of 8th place among 119 universities in 2023, this represents an advancement of one place. In percentile terms, our university has progressed from the top 6.72% to the top 5.56%, marking a 1.16% improvement. Notably, despite an increase in the number of universities included in the rankings, our institution has improved both its overall ranking and its percentile position, demonstrating its ability to maintain strong academic performance in a competitive environment.
The URAP world ranking is based on six key academic performance indicators. The table below presents Gazi University's position in Turkey for each sub-indicator, along with their respective weights:

According to the 2024 URAP world ranking results, our university ranked among the top 10 universities in Turkey in four categories and in the overall ranking among the 126 universities included in the evaluation.
