Gazi University’s Remarkable Success in THE World University Rankings by Subject 2025

Gazi University has achieved significant success both globally and within Turkey in the Times Higher Education (THE) 2025 World University Rankings by Subject. In the Arts and Humanities field, our university has secured a position in the 601+ band worldwide, while maintaining its stable position in the 501–600 band in the Education field.

In the Life Sciences and Clinical & Health fields, Gazi University has been ranked within the 801–1000 band. With its international projects and academic publications, the university aims to move higher in these rankings. Despite the increasing number of participating institutions, Gazi University has retained its 1001+ position in the Physical Sciences field and strives to enhance its performance through research and development (R&D) investments and academic achievements.

Our university has also demonstrated notable success in national rankings. In the Arts and Humanities field, Gazi University ranks within the 6–10 band among the top 10 universities in Turkey. Similarly, in the Education field, it holds a position in the 9–11 band, reaffirming the quality and excellence of its undergraduate and graduate programs.

In an era of increasing competition in Engineering and Computer Science, Gazi University continues to maintain its esteemed national and international standing. The university has risen to the 8–19 band in Life Sciences in Turkey, while securing a position in the 8–25 band in Clinical & Health, further solidifying its status among the country’s leading academic institutions.
